After years of research and development, Wolo designed a drop-in replacement air horn for most models of Harley Davidson Motorcycle’s that have saddle bags and a horn housing. Hideaway Blast is two times (2X) louder than the factory horn. THEY WILL HEAR YOU BEFORE THEY CAN SEE YOU!® Included with the kit are easy to follow pictorial step-by-step instructions ensuring a professional installation by the DIY weekend mechanic. No special tools required. The Hideaway Blast air horn fits into the factory horn housing and it is hidden from view. The compact heavy-duty compressor mounts into the left side saddle bag, using the patented mounting bracket and secures firmly with 3M™ Dura Lock™ tape. Installation of HIDEAWAY BLAST requires drilling of one access hole 25/32” into the saddle bag’s inside wall, to route the air hose and relay wires to the compressor. The air hose and wires are concealed inside a black flexible tubing that looks like the original equipment and secures to the saddle bag with a waterproof connector. A concern for many mechanics is, do I really need to install a relay? The answer to the question is YES. Wolo engineered Hideaway Blast with a heavy-duty waterproof 30-amp relay which is factory installed to the horn and prewired, so there is no need to worry about wiring a relay, and which wire goes where. Wolo’s HIDEAWAY BLAST comes complete with a patented compressor bracket (mounts without drilling holes), black wire ties, air filter, quality electrical terminals, air hose, 30-amp relay factory mounted and wired, mounting hardware and 3M™ Dura Lock™ tape. If you love to ride your motorcycle but hate those drivers that ignore you, or can’t hear your horn, Wolo has the answer to the problem that threatens the life of every motorcycle rider and it’s called HIDEAWAY BLAST. Don’t ride without it!
