Luminous is a high-performance, low profile linear light bar designed with the latest state-of-the-art electronic circuitry that has low power consumption and will provide years of reliable service. Luminous produces an intense beam of light which can be seen 360 degrees even in bright daylight. All models have polycarbonate clear lenses that are waterproof, and UV stabilized. Only long-life LEDs' are used having an expected lifespan of 100,000 hours and are totally maintenance free, no bulbs to burn out. The take down and alley lights have super bright clear LEDs', for spotlight effect. Choose from 29 different warning light patterns, plus three different traffic advisory patterns, all controlled from the compact switch controller. The switch controller is the command center for the light bar, controlling all functions with a flash pattern indicator and digital display. The low profile and clear lens design make Luminous almost invisible when mounted on a vehicle roof. Built to withstand all environments and weather conditions, constructed of thick extruded aluminum plates top and bottom. Kit includes stainless steel universal mounting straps for securing the light bar to the vehicle's window ledge and mounting hardware. Luminous has the following certification:
